Margaret ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Centre
In the Margaret ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Centre, a small group of students with intellectual disabilities benefit from a personalised Secondary curriculum within the inclusive setting of the College.
The program offers students opportunities to develop skills for:
- Independent living
- Transition from school to work
- Leisure in the wider community
The Margaret ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Centre specialises in supporting the education of students with extensive learning needs such as intellectual disabilities, under the guidance of the Margaret ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Centre & Intervention Leader.
Students are enrolled as per the College enrolment process and participate in all aspects of College life including homeroom, camps, excursions and a combination of modified mainstream and specialised Centre subjects as per their Personalised Plan for Learning (PPL).
Work experience and post school transition are a significant focus of the senior years. Please refer to the Margaret ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Centre Booklet for further information.
